South Bay Polo is located just 30 minutes south of San Jose in Gilroy CA. We offer a full range of polo opportunities from learning to play to working with our pros to improve your game. We host club chukkers, tournaments and player/family BBQs from the May - October on our beautiful polo field. Winter polo is played in the arena at Horse Park Polo Club or on the field if conditions allow.

South Bay Polo offers several programs for the beginner to advanced player, youth to adult. We also offer boarding and full horse care.
Learn to Play
South Bay Polo offers different options to learn the game. Take an Intro to Polo class and see if it is for you or enroll in our 6 or 8 week Polo Academy and you will be playing chukkers by the last class! We also offer an Advanced Polo Academy at South Bay!
Youth Programs
We offer youth polo programs from Leadline polo starting at 3 years old, to students ranging from 5-11 years old and a competitive Interscholastic program for middle and high school students. Our young players learn to play and improve their horsemanship skills.
Improve Your Game
South Bay Polo has programs for players looking to better their skills and game strategy. From video swing analysis, riding video analysis, Fundamental/Fast Fridays and coaching chukkars with our pros, we have you covered.
Coaching & Competitive Chukkars
At South Bay Polo, you can choose to play with one of our Pros to improve your game and strategy. We will be offering club tournaments throughout the 2024 season to hone you competitive play. Be sure to check our calendar for our 2024 Season Tournaments.
Chukkar Sign-up
As we get closer to the beginning of our season, we will begin our chukkar sign-up online. Members and players need to sign up for Thursday and weekend chukkars on-line through ChukkerBook. Be sure to check our calendar for the latest dates!
Our Pros
Meet our incredible Polo Pros. They are invested and dedicated to work with you to improve your riding, skills and game. We can't wait for the 2024 season to start! All of our pros offer group and private lessons, coaching, horse training and sales. We also have a Visiting Pro Program where we welcome pro's to come play with our members!
